This luxurious option combines the soft folds of curtains with the practicality of blinds. Sheer and opaque soft fabric panels hang in a similar way to curtains and can be adjusted with a simple wand. With a gentle twist, light filters through the sheer section of the fabric, or through the opaque section when more privacy is needed.
They're a practical choice for large windows and doors, like bifolds and sliding doors, as they can be made to cover wide expanses of glass. The free-hanging panels can be separated for easy access through doors when the blinds are closed. And to open fully just use the want to push the blind to the side.
Venetian blinds are brilliant at controlling light and privacy levels, but for some, the design can seem a little too stark. Which is where Triple Shade blinds come into their own.
They feature a double layer of beautiful sheer fabric with a soft fabric vane in between. When the vane is open, the light will gently filter through. Tilt the vane to the closed position for greater control over light and privacy. Plus they can be motorised, for easy control with a handy remote and they're smart compatible too. This requires a Somfy smart hub, which allows voice control via a smart home system, such as Alexa or Google Assistant, or with an app on your phone.
