Old meets new in this eye-catching Roman blind in 1970s Oceana. The name refers to a time when marbling was all the rage, in paper, interiors and even in kids’ toys. That graceful swoop and swirl of colours is an iconic look but we’ve made the retro modern with our choice of colours. Beautiful teals, emeralds, aquas, forest and deep ark green create an almost exotic rainforest of colours for a blind that will really make a visual impact wherever you choose to use it. Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
