Create a countryside look at your windows with a Roman blind in Aida Lilac. Like a block print in negative where the background colour actually creates the design, it’s a little bit of nature in your home. Muted shades of cream and a lilac so pale there’s almost no purple to it, with a touch of beige that stops it being cold the contrast between the two is less severe than a typical print and that’s echoed in the subject matter. Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
