With a Roman blind in Amerlia Mineral you’ll be conjuring up the gently moving branches of a pussy willow at your window. This wonderful tree is the inspiration behind our new Amerlia fabric which is available in two colours and this is the simpler of the two. It’s vaguely monochromatic, a predominantly grey print on a cream background, but there’s so much more to it than that. The print has a watercolour effect to it, the colours bleeding out at the edges, or fading away into nothingness on the stems, while to buds capture the slightly fuzzy nature of the catkins and their delicacy. Wherever you choose to use these curtains they’ll bring focus to the window without being in any way over-powering.

This is our promise to you that you’re investing in a quality product that’s made to the highest specifications. As part of your warranty we will repair or replace any faulty goods free of charge.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
