If you’re looking for a Roman blind that brings just a single colour but want more than just a plain block, then take a look at Anika Green for a blind that’s just a little bit different. The colour in question is green – for both the backdrop and the pattern. It may look like a print, but it’s actually embroidered, with single green threads, in contrast to the normal block stitching you get with embroidered fabrics. This keeps the look farm more light and airy, and it’s helped by both the mid-green thread that’s deep enough to contrast with the cream-with-a-touch-of-green background, so light it’s not even mint. Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
