Our new Roman blind in Aurora Pacific is so lush that you’ll want to dive right in and experience its loveliness. There’s so many aspects to it that it’s hard to pick one to begin with, but let’s start with the colour. Inspired by the ocean, it’s a medley of greens and blues that wash over each other in a tumble of waves, breaking up into patches of off-white and a soft dusky pink now and again. There’s an almost watercolour effect in parts too, a nod to the art world that’s inspired much of our new collection. But it’s not just the colours and the print that makes this so enticing – the velvet fabric is heavenly, and you’ll be hard pushed not to stroke it every time you raise or lower it.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Roman blinds, so we offer a full 12-month warranty as assurance that our products will stand the test of time. This is our promise to you that you’re investing in a quality product that’s made to the highest specifications. As part of your warranty we will repair or replace any faulty goods free of charge.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
