Duke Blue

Set sail on a fun voyage with these Roman blinds in Duke Blue. There’s something ever so slightly nautical about this fabric, but not enough to be in any way gimmicky, the blue’s too soft to worry about that. And it’s a great shade of blue, just right in the middle with a hint of grey and a touch of green to keep it balanced and neither hot nor cold. The off-white/cream seems much stronger with this colourway too, but it’s just down to the greater contrast between the two colours. It might seem too obvious but it really will work so well in kitchens and bathrooms as you’d expect, and the little touches that you add will help keep it on the more grown-up side of things.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
