Duke Mink

A little colour and a little pattern combine to make this Roman blind in Duke Mink a big winner in our eyes. As you’d guess from the name, the main colour is a really pale brown, with just enough heat in it to give a snug look. The only additional colour also makes up the pattern, where various widths of bands of cream run vertically downwards, before the mink takes over again for a wider panel, and the pattern repeats again. Equally eye-catching in a subtle way whether the blind is raised or lowered, it’s a good option if you want to keep your colours limited in a room, but still want something that’s a little more than plain.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
