Nicely neutral and nicely natural seems to sum up this Roman blind in Duke Olive. There is something almost regal about this fabric, like a minor royalty, that makes you look at it a second time for a deeper look. There’s a great textured look to the weave, like it’s heavy and weighty, and the vertical stripes will add length at your window whether the blind is fully lowered or resting in folds. It’s the palest shade of olive that next to the soft cream is barely green there’s so little contrast between the two. Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
