Product Details
If you’ve ever been to La Palma, in the Canary Islands, then our Obsidian wood blind will be a colour that’s familiar to you. The matt black colour takes its name from the volcanic rock, just like the volcanic sand the beach is made from that makes it such an usual sight. This is a blind that’s going to create a strong and striking look wherever you choose to use it and it’s definitely not a run-of-the-mill take. Keep it bold by pairing it with white or red for a classic checkerboard or monochrome vibe, or focus more on the function of the room to consider its pairing – it’s ideal for a home office, with a more studious feel.

Guarantee
Quality is something we take very seriously here at Hillarys. All our products are rigorously tested to ensure they are made to the best standards and look and fit exactly as they should. We want you to be completely satisfied with your Wooden blinds, so we offer a full 12-month warranty as assurance that our products will stand the test of time. This is our promise to you that you’re investing in a quality product that’s made to the highest specifications. As part of your warranty we will repair or replace any faulty goods free of charge.
Cleaning Tips
Close your Faux Wood blinds and tilt the slats downwards until flat. Wipe over with a dry, clean cloth to remove dust and debris, before tilting the slats upwards and repeating. For more stubborn marks, use a very diluted mix of detergent and water and gently rub with a cloth, wiping the area dry afterwards.
Child Safety
All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Wooden blind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children.
