With a Roman blind in Faso Cornflower you’ll feel as if you’re bringing nature right into the heart of your home. The beautiful blue is as striking as the flower it takes its name from, and so we’ve left it plain and simple with no additional texture or embellishments like embroidery so that the colour really sings out. 100% cotton, this fabric will gently fall into soft folds as you raise it and still make a considerable impact thanks to the colour. If you’ve smaller windows we recommend letting this blind be the only window dressing, but if you have the benefit of larger windows there’s a variety of other dressings you can pair it with – cream will keep the intensity of the colour soft, white will bring more of a strong contrast, or you could go with blue in differing shades perhaps changing with the seasons, dependant on the room.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
