A Roman blind in Florent Fuschia creates the effect of a work of art at any window you choose to use it. It’s like a combination of watercolour and screen printing, lines of colour running down the fabric from top to bottom, blurring at the edges and with colours overlapping for a soft and slightly hazy look. As you’d expect the most dominant colour is the purple-pink of the familiar flower it’s named after, but there’s a cobalt blue for added colour and the two contrasts are met in the middle with a grey-brown dash here and there. One of those patterns that adds even more interest when the blind is raised, the folds creating visual as well as actual depth, there’s really no room you won’t be able to enjoy this blind in.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
