Flourish Ocean

Soft stripes and silver hues are what this Roman blind in Flourish Ocean are all about and it’s the combination of the two, pattern and colour, that really make this fabric work as well as it does. And it does that really well. The green is heading towards teal with blue in it, but it’s not entirely there yet, and that’s partly down to the background colour that keeps it still in the green zone. It’s an off-white that’s got an almost silver sheen to it, for a slightly cool effect but not a cold one. Traditional stripes can be hard to pull off, so these stripes are broken, and fade in and out for a much more gentle look that can work in a wide range of different rooms.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
