Gilmore Fiesta

A Roman blind in Gilmore Fiesta is like bringing a piece of contemporary art to your window. There’s texture, pattern and colour all in one lively package with this fabric and it’s full of life. A really nice blend of orange and red that you could push either way with additional curtains and accessories, the colour is the reveal that the jacquard weave makes in the cream upper, and the lines it creates aren’t entirely solid, so it’s not overly severe. A geometric pattern of squares inside squares gives a sort of perspective image, which is alternated with a repeat of this pattern but from the middle out, and running from corner to corner rather than beginning in the middle. There’s a lot going on but because of the repetition there’s structure and balance too so it doesn’t look overly busy, just lively and vibrant.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
