Gilmore Gray Ridge

A Roman blind in Gilmore Gray Ridge will give an eye-catching display at any window. The geometric design is simple yet very effective, with its square-within-a-square layering in repeated blocks, and to break up the pattern, alternate blocks feature a staggered version of the pattern, set from the diagonal. Using the jacquard weave, the top white is cut through to expose the deep grey beneath, and as the white lines emerge, they’re scuffed and broken which softens the effect so that it’s not as severe as it may otherwise have been. Grey is showing no signs of losing its popularity in the interior design world, which is great as it’s a really versatile colour that works well in so many different spaces.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
