Product Details

Using a warm yet lighter choice of brown Grenoble Chocolate is perfect for a Pleated blind because the dark colour will block out any unwanted light entering your home so that it doesn't make the space look too bright. The darker colour will make for a great contrasting choice against spaces that are decorated with vibrant colours while complementing darker styled homes, but the lighter touch to the hue will make the decor stand out more and make it brighter. Meanwhile, the blind itself is crafted with a solar reflective quality which reflects the suns warmth and keeps your home cool, which is handy for the warmer months of the year.

Cleaning Tips

Extend the lifespan of your conservatory roof Pleated blinds and keep them looking fresher for longer by cleaning them on a regular basis. Dust, debris and small insects can build over time but you can easily blow them away using a small hair dryer. The force of the air is powerful enough that it will remove the debris, but won’t damage your blind. Then, for a deeper clean, you can use the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner, adjusting the suction to its lowest level if possible and working from top to bottom to brush gently over the blind. Make sure you use a footstool or step ladder for those harder to reach areas. It's also a good idea to make sure you conservatory is adequately ventilated to avoid problems caused by excess moisture like the build up of mould.

Child Safety

At Hillarys we do everything we can to make sure our products are safe for children. As a minimum, all of our blinds meet the European Standard BS EN 13120 for both performance and safety. Beyond this, safety is at the forefront of our minds right through the design process as we strive to make products that are not only stylish and high-quality, but also safe. As all our Pleated blinds are pull-cord operated, your Hillarys advisor will install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose strings. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the ground.
