Holi Orchid

A Roman blind in Holi Orchid is like having a piece of modern art at your window. It’s the kind of geometric design that works really well on a blind whether it’s raised or extended, and features small blocks arranged in a chevron shape in a couple of rows of different colours. The blocks drag down to the next row, the colour fading out before it gets to the next block, greens, purples and dark blue all on a cream backdrop. It’s a little bit funky without being garish – we think it will look amazing playing against tiled walls, especially white or with any of the accent colours because you’ll get that play off from the squares too and the colour will add brightness to the room.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
