Huxley Rust

It’s all a matter of perspective when it comes to this Roman blind in Huxley Rust. It may not be the most attractive of names, but the colour itself is still beautiful, a coppery brown but without any glare, mixed in with a paler tan. The weave is more visible in this colourway, Huxley’s 100% recycled polyester threads making alternate diagonal lines across the fabric for added texture for your eyes, while the fabric itself has a gorgeous softness to it that will make you want to touch it every time you pass. There’s so many ways to style this colour, from keeping it deep with whites and creams, to playing it against natural colours, but you could easily go bold and modern with copper oranges, russet or even yellows that sit more towards green.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
