Iowa Blackout Black

Iowa Black is not the plain block colour blind the name may imply, thanks to the accompanying texture that breaks up the black, adding speckles of light and character and the result is a best-of-both-worlds solution. The texture tones the black down to a dark grey, making it far more versatile than a plain black colour, and the texture injects a sense of movement. Still quite utilitarian it’s a blackout roller blind that will work hard in utility rooms, home offices or even masculine spaces without concern for any existing décor, but we think this could also look really quite striking in bathrooms or kitchens, particularly with plentiful white tiling – perhaps interspersed with black and grey in a chequerboard pattern for a contemporary look.

Remove dust and debris using the upholstery attachment on your vacuum. You can then use a clean, damp cloth to gently wipe the blind, starting at the top using a downward motion. Always let your blind dry fully before rolling it up again. Tougher stains can be removed with a specialist fabric stain remover, but please follow the manufacturer’s instructions closely, and test a small, inconspicuous area first if in doubt.

Standard sidewinder controlled Roller blinds Our standard sidewinder Roller blinds come with safety hooks that are fitted to an adjacent wall. These keep the chain taut and out of reach of children. In addition, our sidewinder controls include chain break connectors which cause the chain to automatically break apart when reasonable weight is placed upon them. Luxury Spring, Super Lux and Motorised Roller options These Roller blind types have no control chains or cords. They are inherently child safe and do not require any additional child safety devices.
