Pop this Roman blind in Laurel Pumice at your window and you’ll enjoy a little sense of the outdoor world from the comforts of inside. Featuring the same pattern of laurel leaves that all five of these new colours in the Laurel range do, Pumice uses a delicate balance of a brown-grey, as you’d expect from the name, to depict the slender leaves that softly spread all over the cream coloured background, and there’s a slightly darker shade that outlines each leaf, adds a touch of detailing and also forms the slim stems that dip and bend across the fabric. It’s a great choice if you have a window that has no wall space for curtains as it provides a bit of visual interest without being too busy.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
