Staggered repeat patterns are always an eye-catching choice on a Roman blind and Mali Silver is no exception. Whether the blind is full lowered to let you see the full pattern or raised to give you a snapshot, the Mali pattern is simple but striking, with a tribal style to its blend of sharp diamonds in a grey that’s pale but with added brown for warmth, contrasting with the background cream, which creates a wave to the diamond edges. Simple yet effective the Mali pattern is strong enough to be the feature dressing at any window but the soft silver colour means you can easily pair it with curtains in a similar colour, or in cream or simply have it as an additional colour wherever you choose to use it.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
