Maud Indigo

A Roman blind in Maud Indigo will turn heads wherever you choose to use it. There’s nothing plain and simple about this fabric and yet it’s not overwhelming either. Instead, it uses a clever combination of two strong but compatible colours – blue and green to create a lux feel. And it’s the shades used that make this work, a deep green with a lot of blues in it shimmers as the background to the strokable indigo weave that sits on top in random and wandering lines up and down the fabric, breaking off here and there to soften the overall look. Definitely a blind you can leave on its own at a single window and it will still make an impact.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
