Pop a Roman blind in Nora Putty at your window and it’s like having your very own modern art gallery in any room. The 100% cotton fabric takes two colours of brown, from totally opposite ends of the spectrum, one so dark it’s almost black, the other so pale it’s almost cream and pairs them together for a striking look. There’s something of the ancient world about the lines and shapes of the pattern, runic, or Aztec even, the dark lines like carving on stone bleached by time, and there’s a kind of scumbled patching to the background too, paler in parts, to make a really effective blind, that can be left on its own or paired with neutrals or velvety browns in winter all across your home.

This is our promise to you that you’re investing in a quality product that’s made to the highest specifications. As part of your warranty we will repair or replace any faulty goods free of charge.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
