Power Steel

A Roman blind in Power Steel brings warm greys and cream into your home. The fabric has a rather unusual pattern, with wide and narrow bands, like vertical lines that then bend and carry on before returning, a little like street lines on an old paper map, moving their way among buildings and obstacles. It’s quite enticing; your eyes automatically begin to follow it, as if it’s a hidden route. The pattern evolves from the jacquard weave which, combined with the colour scheme gives a touch of luxury to the fabric. With less of a retro feel than in the Honey colourway, Steel offers instead a strong visual that can work alone at a window quite happily, making it an ideal choice for hallways, cloakrooms or smaller spaces.

This is our promise to you that you’re investing in a quality product that’s made to the highest specifications. As part of your warranty we will repair or replace any faulty goods free of charge.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
