Spectre Ash

Bring a soft whisper of colour with a Roman blind in Spectre Ash. This textured fabric has a high percentage of viscose thread, one of the reasons it feels very soft and will gently sit in folds when your blind is raised. It’s also what gives it just a little touch of sheen too, which stops the grey being too dark or overwhelming. The pattern is the other aid here, making the colour look as if it’s been applied and removed, fading in and out, like a soft brush of shading. In some ways it’s the most natural of the three colours in this new range and the deepest while still being soft and gentle.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
