Spectre Whip

Gentle elegance is the name of the game with a Roman blind in Spectre Whip. The weave is a jacquard so you’ve got a little bit of texture in what is fundamentally a plain fabric, but it’s far from boring. It’s a lovely shade of brown, mid-shade, like the brown of a barn owl’s feathers and there’s a similar shimmery effect on the fabric, because of the contrast between the brown and the soft silver-grey underneath, that ebbs and flows throughout the brown. You’ll get a lovely effect when the blind is raised too – the folds creating their own shadow which actually heightens the two-tone effect. There’s a little more life to this colourway thanks to the contrast but it’s still peaceful and quiet for use anywhere in your home.

This is our promise to you that you’re investing in a quality product that’s made to the highest specifications. As part of your warranty we will repair or replace any faulty goods free of charge.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
