Spritz Grape

Curtains in Spritz Grape will really pull the focus to your window in any room. Is it the colour or the pattern that makes this fabric such a head-turner, or is it the combination of both? Whatever it is, these curtains are in some way the standout colour of the five that make up this new range. As the name suggests it’s a shade of purple, but more like the inner pith, with its browny tones, rather than the vivid outer purple, so a little more subtle. Of course the pattern, with its random little blocks of white adds to the vibrancy and of course the longer and wider your windows the more impact the curtains will have due to the length and width, so you may want to make them the only dressing, or team it with a simple voile in cream or white and let the colour of the curtain be the dominant force.

All our curtain fabrics are dry clean only, but there are other ways to keep your curtains looking great for longer. You can gently vacuum by using the upholstery attachment on your machine, or use a steamer starting at the top and working in large sweeping movements to the bottom of the curtains. For velvet fabrics, steam them from the lining side only. It is important to avoid getting water or steam on the face of the fabric as this may cause permanent damage. Check the fabric swatch for more information. Note: Curtains may shrink up to 3% after the first dry clean.

Standard curtains themselves are inherently child safe. However, as with all window dressings where cords are used, you should take steps to regularly check that your curtains are safe for children. This includes making sure that any cords used to hold header pleats in place are tied together and secured at all times, especially if you decide to adjust the header pleats after your curtains have been fitted. Never leave a length of cord exposed. Curtain tie-backs can also pose a risk to young children when they are looped in place around your curtains. We do not recommend curtain tie-backs in homes where young children are resident or visit. If you choose a corded curtain option, additional child safety devices will be fitted as standard. A tension spring device will be included to keep the cords under constant tension and a safety hook will be fitted to an adjacent wall with the cords hooked through to keep them out of reach of children.
