If you want to add a splash of deep colour but don’t want it too heavy, then our latest Sunbeam Day and Night blind in Graphite could be just what you’re looking for. It’s a grey with a fair amount of black to it, but the wood-like graining on the opaque panels stops it being a block colour so it’s a lot softer than you might think, making it the ideal choice if you’re a little nervous about adding a darker colour. And of course being a Day and Night blind it’s got the sheer panel to counteract the colour, and in this case it’s more net than a simple sheer so the whole look is more airy than dark grey can sometimes be,

Regular maintenance To keep your skylight blinds free of dust and debris, lightly vacuum your blinds with the upholstery attachment of a hand-held vacuum cleaner, but only if you can safely reach your blinds. Cleaning light stains For light stains, use a lint-free cloth to carefully wipe the stain with clean, warm water. Once the stain has lifted, rinse and re-apply if necessary. For stubborn stains, repeat the process above but add a little soap to the warm water. Only attempt to clean your skylight blinds if you can safely do so. Cleaning your skylight window and frame To clean your skylight window, make sure your blind is fully open so that you can easily reach the glass and frame. The easiest way to clean your glass is with a clean cloth and a non abrasive glass cleaning solution. If you can safely reach, you should also wipe the frame of your blind and windows with a clean duster or slightly damp cloth.

A safety hook with a continuous chain loop to keep the chain and cord taut and out of reach of children will be fitted to an adjacent wall.
