A calming hue of pink with undercurrents of cream. A satin texture is woven through the fabric which juxtaposes the rugged effect of the stitching beautifully. When pairing with another fabric, choosing a pink or cream can help to illuminate the colours already there. Alternatively, choosing a bolder colour such as ochre will bring out new dimensions to the pink and cream. We have chosen this fabric because pale pinks are a key colour of this season, they promote tranquillity and are suitable for any room in the house where you want to create a haven. Surface Blush could be perfect for softening the sometimes hard space of a kitchen, or to restore peace and help sleep in a bedroom. Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
