Talbot Stone

Flying the flag for the ever-popular grey in interior design, Talbot Stone is a great choice for a Roman blind. It uses a light shade grey but you don’t need to worry that it will look too cold like some greys do, because the weave of the fabric gives it a textured surface which creates a lovely sense of warmth. <br><br>There’s three grey colourways in Talbot, and Stone is the paler, with white flecks that slightly mute the grey and help by adding a more visual texture too. There’s a little touch of brown in certain lights too, so it’s little more versatile than a lot of other grey shades, especially the paler variety.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
