Vapour Obsidian is part Roman blind part piece of art and it’s going to be a real focal point at any window. It’s a bold geometric design that sees triangular and angled shapes cut out of the black chenille base, to show the neutral beige underneath, but there’s just a hint of pink to the neutral and it ties in with the magenta circles that randomly dot the fabric for added interest. Because the pattern detail is simple and uncomplicated it doesn’t create a huge amount of business to the blind, it’s just fun and lively and full of personality. We think it’ll look great in kitchens or bathrooms, as a contrast to lots of white tiling but don’t discount it from bedrooms or living rooms, because that cosy black chenille fabric will help create a snug setting.

This is our promise to you that you’re investing in a quality product that’s made to the highest specifications. As part of your warranty we will repair or replace any faulty goods free of charge.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
