Wirl Sienna

Come back down to earth with this Roman blind in Wirl Sienna. There’s a little more grittiness to this colourway in our new Wirl range than some of the more vibrant shades, and it brings its own beauty because of it. The deep earthy orange-brown works really well with the heavy graining in the 100% cotton fabric, almost like a river of muddy water cascading through the grateful parched earth. It’s a slow meander too, the lines taking long, slow deviation off route before returning on their way again and there’s something quite calming and peaceful about it, as your eye slowly tracks its way along and down the blind. A repeat pattern that’s just as effective whether your blind is raised or lowered it’s a great choice for either stand-alone windows or as one of a series paired with curtains.

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
