Caring for our people

We're committed to nurturing a supportive and inclusive community. We're champions for our people and proud to be part of the communities we work in.

A woman enthusiastically gestures near a colorful spinning wheel in an office, while three seated colleagues watch. The room contains desks, computers, and large windows.

Stronger, together

From social events to charity commitments and giving every colleague a voice, we believe in succeeding together and creating an inclusive and diverse place to work.

We're dedicated to taking care of our people and supporting the causes we touch along the way as we work together for a better, more sustainable future.

  • "Investing in our people and the local community is a big part of our culture. We're always looking for new opportunities to give back and bring people together."

Our achievements so far

  • We give back to our local community

We volunteer at local charities - recently our colleagues have spent time at local food banks and helped to transform the wellbeing room at the Nottingham Women’s Centre

  • We're committed to our colleagues wellbeing

We have regular wellbeing activities, from running clubs to our menopause café and our own Hillarys choir, plus trained Mental Health Colleagues in every department

  • So far this year we've raised over £31,000 for charity

Whether it's a bake sale, car wash, physical challenge or even just wearing pyjamas to work there's so many ways we raise money for the local and national charities our colleagues choose to support each year

In 2024, we're committed to:

  • Working with national charities on a textile repurpose and reuse scheme

  • Raising awareness and funds for causes that are important to our people

  • Investing in our colleagues through award-winning training
