We're committed to reducing our impact on the planet. We're working on recycling and reducing our operational waste and carbon emissions across our sites.

Our progress

Waste

  • We recycle all plastic films and spools across our manufacturing sites

    Saving 66 tonnes from general waste

  • In 2023, we increased the recycled content of our packaging by 2.5% in weight reaching a total of 77%, as well as achieving a 3.3% increase in our recyclable packaging, totaling 80.8%

    We also replaced bubble wrap with embossed cardboard in our Metal Venetian blind packaging, saving 6.8 tonnes of plastic a year

  • In 2023 we also made improvements in our curtains and Roller blind production processes

    Saving 35 tonnes of fabric from waste

Carbon emissions

  • In 2022, we added more electric vehicle charging points

    We now have seven rapid chargers across three sites

  • We've installed solar panels across our sites

    Starting with our head office in 2022, we've now installed a total of 133kW of solar panels across our sites

  • As of 2023, 91% of our lighting across sites is LED

    And all offices and communal spaces have motion sensors

  • We source 100% of our electricity from renewable sources

    These are backed by Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO)

In 2024, we will...

  • Achieve 100% LED lighting

  • Continue improving product packaging by:

    - Reducing packaging use

    - Improving recyclability

    - Increasing recycled content

  • Keep exploring commerically viable ways to repurpose or recycle textile waste

  • Review additional sites for solar power installation

  • Complete waste audits across all our sites and act on findings
